GONG Greedy 10’2

The 10.8 Greedy and smaller brother 8.11 Mach is a quad fin bat tailed board. Designed for the feeling of fish style board effortless manoveable, fast on a wave face, still very stable to paddle. Works well in small med and large surf reinforced rails like all gong boards to prevent paddle damage. Strong tuttle fins and boxes to prevent accidental breakage.

Stability :

Suitable for riders of weights around 85kg down to 60kg, can be used for tandom SUP riding. On GONG SUP's the hull is generally flat under the area you stand to premote stability the rail in this area has also been reprofiled to further assist stability while paddling.

Construction

PROTECK – This is the entry level construction, built in epoxy sandwich, feels stiff and lightweight, out performs many of its rivals. Has a Gelcoat finish which is pigment dyed.

HIGHTECK – Again an epoxy sandwich board, uses a lighter foam core, the same board compared to the Proteck will take less energy to paddle onto a wave, glide for longer and will feel stiffer and will absorb more shock. This patented technology is superior to the majority of Far East manufactured SUPs. (On average 1kg+ lighter than the Proteck construction)

CARBONTECK – The lightest construction which is approx 10% lighter than the Highteck range. It features a carbon wrap which will increase the boards performance and will make it much more responsive in everything from paddling to rail-to-rail carving.

The deckpads are thick enough to protect the deck of the board against heel damage and are resined on opposed to being glued to prevent deck peel at the end of the season. Rails are reinforced to prevent paddle damage. Centre fins are US fitting and thrusters and quad fins are mini tuttle box.
